Terms of use

Version 2026-10-04

Changed: Gmail is no longer offered to new accounts; the notice now covers dashboard messages, the search fallback, backups and every bank account a connection shares, links Synci's portal notice, and the terms set out what the liability limit cannot cover. Sign-in emails are sent by Resend and support mail is held by Apple.

These terms are the rules for using Jesse, an independent app. By using Jesse you accept them. The privacy notice explains how your data is handled.

What Jesse is not

Acceptable use

Do not use Jesse to break the law, to harm others, to send spam, to process other people’s data without a right to, or to probe, overload or get around the service’s security.

Availability

Jesse is provided as it is during the pilot. It aims to be available but can be interrupted for maintenance, faults or a provider’s outage, and bank and other data can arrive late.

Liability

Jesse is free and provided as it is. As far as the law allows, Jesse is not liable for what follows from using it or from not being able to. This does not limit liability for harm caused on purpose or by gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Law and contact

Romanian law applies. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection your own country’s law gives you and can go to its courts. Questions about these terms: support@heyjesse.app.
