Changed: Gmail is no longer offered to new accounts; the notice now covers dashboard messages, the search fallback, backups and every bank account a connection shares, links Synci's portal notice, and the terms set out what the liability limit cannot cover. Sign-in emails are sent by Resend and support mail is held by Apple.

Jesse uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and no third-party scripts. The public pages set nothing. Signing in sets the cookies below, which the service needs to work.

Cookies

sb-…-auth-token: Keeps you signed in. Set when you sign in, removed when you sign out. Up to 400 days.
sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier: Completes a sign-in started in this browser. Until the sign-in finishes.
jesse_invite: Carries an invite link through sign-in. 30 minutes.

Browser storage

The dashboard remembers your display choices in your browser. They never leave your device.

jesse.style, jesse.theme, jesse.palette: Your look: glass or panels, light or dark, colours.
jesse.displayCur, jesse.hideFinance: Your display currency, and whether amounts are hidden.
jesse.tz: Your timezone, so days are shown in your own time.
jesse.open.…: Which sections of the dashboard you folded.

If you turn on notifications, your browser keeps a push subscription and a small service worker that shows them. Turning notifications off in the browser removes them.

Your choices

You can delete these at any time in your browser settings. Removing the sign-in cookies signs you out; removing the stored choices resets the dashboard’s look. Questions: support@heyjesse.app.
